Job Description:

Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of Ladhakh (UT) districts namely Leh and Kargil from 24 Jun 2021 to 30 Jun 2021 at Army Helipad Ground, Kargil. Date and venue of the Recruitment Rally are tentative and might be changed. Candidates who have already registered himself in recruiting year 2020-21 need to register again as the previous notification has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 25 Apr 2021 to 08 Jun 2021. Admit cards for rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 09 Jun 2021 to 22 Jun 2021. Gates will be open at 0500 hours and will be closed by 0700 hours on each day. Candidates will be screened for following Categories as per the Qualitative Requirements (QR) mentioned below (Categories are being screened only as mentioned in notification). The weight standards will be as per the latest medical policy issued vide IHQ of MoD(Army), Dte Gen of Med Service (DGMS) S No 76060/DGMS-5A dated Mar 2020 (attached as Appendix A) and candidates not meeting the required standards will be rejected

Education/Qualification:

Soldier General Duty(All Arms) : Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system, minimum D Grade (33-40) in each subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade

Soldier Technical : 10+2/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical : 10 + 2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory

Soldier Nursing Assistant(AMC) : 10+ 2/Intermediate exam pass in Science with
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and mini

Soldier Tradesmen(All Arms)10th Pass : Class 10th Simple Pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Soldier Tradesmen(All Arms)8th Pass : Class 8th Simple Pass.(for House Keeper & Mess Keeper) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

If a young man or woman, sound of body and mind, and of Indian origin, is inclined to spend most of his useful working years in the kind of desolation that the country’s Field areas’ adjoining the borders provide, can he or she cannot be refused. For the purpose of recruitment, the country is divided into recruiting zones. Every zone is allotted a quota for recruitment based on a percentage of its population and ethnic grouping. A legacy, slowly being diluted, is that of combat arm units or regiments recruiting from a particular zone or mixture of ethnic groups. Once a man has joined up, it is for keeps. Many fall out at the basic training stage when they find that there is much more to it than getting into a smart uniform. The one who hear the sound of the trumpet clearly without missing a note, take their oath and for the greatness of the nation go into service – not servitude.
