Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Key performance areas:

General Ledger maintenance and Balance Sheet reconciliation
Responsible for the full bookkeeping function to Trial Balance
Assist Creditors Clerk with queries
Debtor-, Creditor and Bank- reconciliations
Accurate capturing of intercompany transactions and reconciling loan accounts
Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
Assisting with any other administrative and operational duties as required

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

Matric with an Accounting Degree or relevant tertiary qualification
Completed SAICA Articles will be adventageous
1 – 3 years working experience within Industrial / Engineering Companies in Accounting
Experience in Accounting package such as Xero Accounting will be advantageous
Excellent computer literacy – (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Must be highly accurate, disciplined and not time-bound
Excellent communication skills
Ability to remain calm in a highly pressurised environment
