Job Description:

Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad has been established under Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014, Vide Act No. VI, 2014, in year 2017 having its headquarter in the Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad is established with a goal to impart a quality legal education in the country. Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad is a latest addition to the Consortium of National Law Universities in India. Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad invites Applications from eligible candidates (kindly check the eligibility hereinafter mentioned) in the prescribed format (See Website) for filling up of following Teaching and Non-Teaching posts in the University:

Education/Qualification:

Professor of Law : An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given an Appendix II, Table 2 as per UGC Regulations of Minimum Qualifications for appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the Maintenance of standards in Higher Education, 2018 notified July 18, 2018.
ii)  A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as
Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

Associate Professor of Law : A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines;  A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed); and A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 (UGC Regulations 2018). Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students.

Assistant Professor of Law : A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university

Assistant Professor of Economics : A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Candidates having a good academic record in teaching and research in University, College or any institution of national repute.

Assistant Professor of Political Science : A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Finance and Accounts Officer : : Masters’ Degree in Commerce with at least 55% Marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University/Institute Or A graduate and a qualified Chartered or Cost and Management Accountant.

Internal Auditor : Qualified Auditors / Certified Accountants from Audit and Accounts Service holding the post on regular basis with 03 (three) years’ experience in PB-3 with GP’ 5400/-

Assistant Accounts Officer : A Master’s Degree in any Discipline with at least 55% Marks or its equivalent grade “B” in the UGC 7 Point Scale from a recognized University/Institute OR A graduate and qualified Chartered or Cost Accountant
