Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise interns
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and current financial legislation
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments on strategies and decisions with financial implications
- Prepare and review Annual Financial Statements
- Submit clients’ tax returns
- Provide secretarial services to clients
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments
Qualifications:
- Accounting degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience working in an accounting firm
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software (Sage One, Pastel, Draft Worx, CaseWare) and MS Office
