About Walter Sisulu University
WSU is located in the Eastern Cape and has four campuses. It focuses on urban renewal and rural development by offering quality academic, moral, cultural, and technological learner-centred education. WSU provides more than 170 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across 7 faculties, including:
Engineering, Built Environment & Information Technology
Management & Public Administration Sciences
Economic & Financial Sciences
Law, Humanities & Social Sciences
Medicine & Health Sciences

Documents Required for WSU Applications
Valid ID or passport
Academic certificates (one of the following accepted):
“Old Senior” certificate
National Senior Certificate (NSC)
National Certificate Vocational (NCV)
N6 certificate
Current Grade 12 learners must upload Grade 11 final results and available Grade 12 progress reports
Post-matric candidates must upload their matric certificate and academic record
For transfer students:
Matric certificate, post-matric certificate, ID, official academic report, and conduct certificate
For international applicants:
First apply to Universities South Africa (USAf) for evaluation of your qualifications
Upload USAf evaluation results and passport copy when applying
