Bricklaying Apprenticeship Open for Applications
The National Skills Fund is launching a project to train 300 bricklayers through a 36-month internship programme. Participants will receive formal training and workplace skills development on their path to completing their apprenticeship. Here are the details you need to know:
Program Overview
The internship program will last for 36 months, and candidates must come from the specified local municipalities in the Mpumalanga Province.
Important: Successful candidates will be required to sign a 36-month contract with the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency and their host employers. Be sure to include your local municipality, ward number, home address, and clear contact numbers in your CV, along with the correct reference for the program you are applying for.
Note: This programme is exclusively for South African citizens residing in Mpumalanga Province.
Applicants Must Meet the Following Criteria:
- Unemployed individuals.
- Energetic and capable of handling manual labor.
- Aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric) qualification, with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy.
- Application must include a motivation letter with the correct reference number for the program.
- Proof of residence in the specified local municipality is required.
- A passion or interest in the construction industry.
- Must not have previously participated in the same program.
- Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
