What Faculties Are Offered at the Central University of Technology?


The Central University of Technology (CUT) is situated in the Free State province of South Africa and consists of four faculties that offer a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs:

Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology: This faculty includes programs in civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, quantity surveying, town and regional planning, and information technology.

Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences: Specializes in health sciences with programs in nursing, biotechnology, environmental health, and sport and exercise technology.

Faculty of Humanities: Offers programs in languages and communication studies, tourism, public management, and design and studio art.

Faculty of Management Sciences: Focuses on management and commerce disciplines, including marketing, human resource management, accounting, and entrepreneurship.

In addition to these faculties, CUT hosts various centers and institutes dedicated to research and development, such as the Institute for Intelligent Systems, Centre for Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing, and Centre for Plant Health and Biosecurity.
