Deadline for 2023 National Benchmark Test Registration: When It Closes

Registrations for the 2023 National Benchmark Tests (NBTs) are now open. So, when do they close? The NBT is a crucial admission requirement for many South African universities, helping assess a student’s readiness for higher education. In some cases, your acceptance into a university may depend on your NBT results.

There are two types of tests:

Academic and Quantitative Literacy (AQL): This test evaluates your ability to understand and analyze complex texts.
Mathematics (MAT): This test assesses your proficiency in basic math skills. Some courses will require you to write the MAT test in addition to the AQL.
