Joe Biden appeared unusually cheerful after Donald Trump’s re-election victory over Kamala Harris, garnering much attention of social media and public figures.
The supporters of Donald Trump may be happy and celebrating his US poll show performance, but outgoing President Joe Biden stole the show after he looked bright and probably “the happiest” during his address to the nation on Thursday. And his big bright smiles were even noticed by Donald Trump Junior, who was compelled to believe that Biden was the “only person happier than” him after Trump’s win.
Trump Junior must have been watching Biden address the nation, vowing to ensure a peaceful and orderly transfer of power to President-elect Donald Trump in January, when he expressed on X what crossed his mind – “The only person happier than me this morning. has to be Joe Biden.”

Even political commentator Ben Shapiro wrote, “Joe Biden is the happiest man in America today”.
Making wild guesses over Biden’s big bright smile, some social media users even joked Biden may have “secretly voted for Donald Trump”.
“Happiest guy in the world Biden definitely voted for Trump lmao,” one user posted.
“This is the happiest I have seen Joe Biden in months. I bet he voted for Trump,” another tweeted.
Another X user shared shots from Biden’s address and wrote, “Biden isn’t too sad about Kamala Harris losing this election.”

“Biden has never looked happier,” another X user wrote.
Biden’s activeness was observed after his gaffes during many of his speeches, and even the first debate of the 2024 election opposite Donald Trump, caught the media attention. With a series of verbal slip-ups, even his allies expressed grave concerns about the impact on his race against Trump.
Trump, who is 78, and also has faced concerns about his age, frequently made false claims during the debate and often rambles during campaign speeches.
BIDEN’S ADDRESS TO NATION
Biden on Thursday vowed to ensure a peaceful and orderly transfer of power to President-elect Donald Trump in January and said the electoral drubbing did not mean the Democrats’ movement was defeated.
Biden made the comments during an address to the nation a day after Trump, 78, was re-elected as the 47th president of the US after defeating Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party’s nominee.
Trump, who lost the 2020 elections to President Biden, pulled off an incredible comeback, wresting 295 electoral college votes against Harris’ 226 in a fierce contest that almost left the Americans with two world views.
