Duties & Responsibilities :
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help a manufacturer of VSD and PLCs expand their clientele.
You will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through sales of VSDs and PLC’s and forging strong relationships with clients.
Expand the business by marketing the organization to new clients.
Responsibilities :
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Prepare sales contracts for prospective re-sellers
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
Utilize CRM software to record pertinent data forthcoming from sales representatives
Calls and direct sales calls in region daily.
Manage and develop business for variable frequency drives and PLC’s in region through various prospecting and marketing activities
Desired Experience & Qualification :
Qualifications
Experience in variable frequency drives (VSD), PLC and industrial automation is essential
A sales-based history of employment in Electrical Automation products or similar
Knowledge of CRM system and process
Knowledge of MS Windows/MS Word, MS PowerPoint & MS Excel
Package & Remuneration :
R45 000 to R50 000 per month
Commission, 13th cheque – Dependant on performance.
