Duties & Responsibilities :
PURPOSE/MAIN JOB FUNCTION
The role is focused within the broader global Asset Management team, which is responsible for operating and managing the operational clean energy portfolio.
We are looking for a highly motivated Assets Contract Administrator to ensure compliance of many solar and storage assets / SPVs by ensuring best practices for safety, quality and environmental performance, whilst minimizing the risk of non-compliance of each project with all of the applicable contractual agreements, rules and regulations.
The Contract Administrator will be accountable for the assigned portfolio of operational renewable generators and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System), by ensuring timely, accurate and efficient management of documents through the document management platform and the asset management software.
The Contract Manager will be the main contact for filing documents, for appropriate storage and for tracking contractual obligations. This will involve working with a wide range of diverse cultures and business environments to provide a solid contract administration basis within the asset management team and across the company portfolio.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Managing various contracts such as land lease agreements, plant O & M, management service contracts, security & PPA
Arrange proper storage of the documents under the company policy.
Translate the documents into tasks and ensure that all assets comply with the applicable agreements and regulations in place.
Identify, describe, quantify and evaluate opportunities and risks in the projects.
Draft letters, and claims and collect evidence under contractual requirements.
Liaise with and distribute project-related information with all levels of the asset management team.
Use, maintain and develop document management tools.
Liaise day to day with all teams within the Group.
Attend asset management team meetings, company meetings, handover meetings and appraisals as required.
Comply with all required fire, health and safety requirements at work, including being aware of the current applicable policies and risk assessments and acting accordingly, and attending any required training.
Maintain data security and confidentiality by using information within the parameters of the job role, the company data policies, privacy notices and the statutory guidelines.

Desired Experience & Qualification :
3+ years of post-degree experience
Relevant degree
Asset Contract Management within the energy sector.
Experience of working in a multinational environment.
Management of O&M Agreements, Financing Agreements, Land Lease Agreements, PPA (Power Purchase Agreements), EPC (Energy Performance Certificates)
Ensuring best practices for safety, quality, and environmental performance
Tracking contractual obligations
Strong IT skills, in particular MS 365 and Asset Management platforms
Package & Remuneration :
R300k – R500k pa TCTC (inclusive of company benefits)
