Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities :

MECHANICAL ENGINEER – (CHEMICAL INDUSTRY) – GCC essential

GERMISTON BASED

Mechanical engineer with experience in Chemical industry

R1.5 Million per annum

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR B Tech Mechanical Engineering
with GCC – MUST HAVE 7-10 years experience in Maintenance Management
within a chemical or related industry

* Must have a proven track record in managing GMR (2) appointee
activities (GENERAL MACHINERY MAINTENANCE – TRAINING AND ASSESSMENTS)

* Project management skills – develop an effective network of suppliers
and contractors

* Introduce process improvements

* Sound knowledge of SCADA / PLC including troubleshooting

* Must be prepared to travel to KZN site – will be based in Germiston area
