Network Architect (Fibre Planner)
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Plan and design of new access, metro and core duct and fiber routes, spurs, and PoP sites entries, MMRs
Liaise with internal Project Managers and 3rd party suppliers that ensure fibre networks are designed and deployed according to design.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in a technical field (Negotiable)
8 year’s technical experience in the telecom industry.
5 years in network fibre planning and design or equivalent role.
Optical networking experience, including OTDR.
Expert in GIS and OSS systems.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio.
