Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities :
·
Effective supervision and control of the receiving scheduling plan and receiving of stock.

· Supervision on accuracy in GRN , IBT, and transfer & releasing of stock.

· Ensuring clearance of receiving cages and holding area trough pack away of stock.

· Adherence to compliance SOP’s and company policies (SHEQ, QA).

· Productivity management – capacity management, task allocation and execution, manning utilization, unplanned downtime.

· Equipment up-time and maintenance – Asset inspections and reports are performed as required.

· Reporting on daily performance and Receiving statistics.

· Effective communication with suppliers, and continuous maintenance of relationship with business partners.

· Attainment of daily operational targets according goods receipt SLA time line.

· Ensuring warehouse disputes are followed up and resolved.

· Conduct and supervise filling and document control for processing and administrative purposes.

· Housekeeping and Health & Safety monitoring and adherence.

· Management of quality and output levels.

· Performance management of staff, staff training and discipline.

· Set targets and deadlines for direct reports.

· Control and resolution of ASN disputes / claims internally and externally.

· Manage staff compliment, attendance and management of overtime when required.

Skills:

· Computer skills on MS Office (Word and Excel)

· Systems understanding

· Financial background

· Budget

Knowledge:

· Matric / Grade 12 or NQF 4

· Relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage

· 3 years’ experience in a logistics environment

Desired Experience & Qualification :

Education and Qualification:

Matric / Grade 12 / ABET level 4
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management

Experience:

3 years’ experience in logistics Industry
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
