Duties & Responsibilities

ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic provider of Recycling Solutions seeks a highly skilled and hands-on Production Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, a background in manufacturing, and an understanding of how programming logic works, including knowledge of PLCs. The Production Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process, ensuring high-volume outputs, and managing a small team.

DUTIES:

Demonstrate a hands-on approach to managing production processes.
Train and guide the Production team in the operation of machinery and equipment.
Utilize a strong manufacturing background to optimize production efficiency and meet deadlines.
Ensure that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement effective scheduling and production planning to meet delivery timelines.
Adapt to the unpredictable nature of the environment and make real-time decisions to ensure production continuity.
Manage a small team, including a Production Assistant, and possibly one more person.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high-quality standards in production.

REQUIREMENTS:

A background in Chemical Engineering would be advantageous, with a preference for a Diploma.
Prior experience in a similar role in a Manufacturing environment, preferably in the Oil industry.
Understand programming logic and the operation of PLCs.
Be comfortable working with machinery and demonstrate technical proficiency.
Technical expertise in machinery operation and programming logic.
Understanding of PLCs.
