Job Description

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
Basic knowledge and skills with all tools found in the facility
1-2 years’ experience in a similar/related position
Licence with own transport
Standby duties
Good knowledge of OHS Act
Plumbing
Basic electrical knowledge
Team player

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to health and safety, environment and quality
Performing basic maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment
Repair, maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning
Ensure public areas are well maintained
Servicing of cooling towers and air handle units
Assisting the facilities manager with the maintenance and repair of hospital plant and equipment as and when required
