Production Supervisor – Mining

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate all mining activities, including drilling, blasting, and extraction of minerals.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor production processes and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Plan and allocate resources effectively to maximize production output.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency and achieve production targets.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Monitor and control production costs to achieve cost-saving targets.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Requirements :

Grade 12
5 years’ experience as a Production Supervisor within the mining industry.
Strong knowledge of mining operations and equipment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the mining industry.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
