Job Description

Responsibilities:

– Manage and coordinate engineering activities within a specific section of the company’s operations
– Develop and implement engineering plans, strategies, and budgets
– Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
– Provide technical expertise and support to operational teams
– Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
– Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiencies
– Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
– Implement and maintain maintenance programs for equipment and infrastructure
– Prepare reports and presentations for management

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil)
– Minimum 1 year experience as an Engineer after obtaining their GCC
– Experience in a similar role, preferably in a mining environment specifically smelter and refinery
– Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of relevant mining and engineering principles and practices
– Proficiency in engineering software and tools
– Strong analytical and organizational skills
