Job Description
Responsibilities:
Reviewing project requirements and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
Analyzing project scope, materials, and labor requirements to determine the most cost-effective approach
Coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary information and resources for tender submission
Developing detailed bid proposals that clearly outline project costs, timelines, and deliverables
Presenting bids to prospective clients and responding to any questions or requests for additional information
Collaborating with project management and construction teams to ensure a smooth transition from bid submission to project execution
Monitoring industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or Further Education
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tendering and bidding for civil construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Proficient in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven track record of winning bids for large-scale construction projects
