Electrician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the mine, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, motors, generators, and control systems
Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions, and implement appropriate repairs and solutions
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Complete all necessary documentation and record-keeping related to electrical maintenance activities
Provide training and guidance to other mine staff on electrical safety and maintenance practices

Requirements:

Trade qualification as an Electrician or equivalent certification
Grade 12
N3 Certificate
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Electrician in a mining or industrial environment
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety regulations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work in a remote mining location in Limpopo

Benefits:

Salary: R500k – R600k
