Winder Technician Fitter

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair winding equipment such as winders, hoists, and other mechanical components
Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

Relevant trade qualification as a Fitter or similar
Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the mining industry
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the mining industry

Benefits:

Salary: R600k – R700k
