Duties & Responsibilities :

Key Performance Outputs

•Primarily oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices and people to support the operational departmental actions.

•Align with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning and capital spares optimization.

•To lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.

•Responsible for ensuring that the facility operate to its maximum efficiency and output.

•Responsibilities includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment.

•Responsible for the management of outsourced contracts such as Turbine General Overhaul, Contract Labour management and special projects management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications:

•Technical Diploma or Mechanical Engineering degree

Related Experience:

•2-4 years’ experience in a similar managerial position

•5 years minimum experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial/manufacturing environment

•Sound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control and store management

•CMMS knowledge.

•Sound knowledge of OHS Act

•Sound knowledge and Experience in Labour Legislation

•General Machinery Regulations experience is an advantage.

•Contract management.
