Role Responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with Portfolio Managers to offer meaningful analysis and support to manage a suite of portfolios successfully, including assisting in portfolio construction and ensuring accurate execution of instructions.
Monitor and assess incumbent and current managers alongside the portfolio managers and investment research teams, analysing and monitoring exposures and risks on an ongoing basis.
Provide portfolio analytics services for discretionary managed clients, including interpreting and analysing report results, conducting data interrogation, and generating client reports.
Offer training, support, and mentoring to Analysts in the team, aiding in their development and improving processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date portfolios on internal systems, produce required collateral for portfolio review meetings, and communicate with clients regarding portfolio queries.

Relevant Qualifications / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree, such as BCom, B.Bus.Sci, BSc, or equivalent is essential.
5 – 8 years of relevant experience in investments.
Good understanding of macroeconomics, portfolio construction, and manager research.
Attention to detail and understanding of key risk, performance, and attribution concepts.
Safeguarding the integrity of sensitive client data.
Familiarity with portfolio and instrument level information.
Quick learner with a strong passion for investments and strong analytical skills.
Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Able to work under pressure, multitask, and communicate clearly and politely.
Commitment to learning and development and embracing the team culture.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
