Duties & Responsibilities :
Key performance areas:
To review the current Remuneration and Benefits Offerings and identify critical areas for improvement/change
Stay up to date and implement Payroll legislation
Complete ad hoc benchmarking exercises
Complete salary survey submission data twice annually
Responsible for management of team
To design remuneration calculating excel based tools
To effectively and efficiently perform Benefits and salary increase administration
Implement and deploy annual salary review process, profit share and bonus payout data throughout the Company
To ensure that the bursary application process within the company are consistent and adhered to
To ensure that the loan application process within the company are consistent and adhered to
To efficiently and effectively perform Job Grading Coordination and administration
Ensure compliance to the policies and procedures
Keeps records of all changes on the funds and fund legal documentation
Process all administration arising out of fund meetings
Annual calendar of meetings scheduled
To give input, maintain and provide company policy and procedure documents, manuals and other communications relevant to Remuneration and benefits
To provide professional administration Support to the various Company retirement and provident funds
Coordinate the medical aid and Occupational Health offering within the business
Ensure proper maintenance of systems
Responsible for enhancement of improvement of systems
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate must have:
Matric with relevant qualification
5 – 8 years’ experience in Payroll & Benefits Management
Proficient in SARS eFiling and EasyFile
Excellent knowledge of Payroll systems
Understanding of the all relevant taxation and related remuneration legislation, as well as a grasp of the legal framework regarding fringe benefits, medical aids and remuneration
Excellent ability to manage large data
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Analytical approach to work and display good attention to detail
Proven knowledge of the latest Microsoft applications with ADVANCED EXCEL
Must be able to work in a highly pressurised environment
