Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities :

Key performance areas:

Day- to- day plant and preventative maintenance on electrical, instrumentation and maintenance equipment and machinery.
Ensure safe working conditions in plant in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.
Assist with engineering breakdowns.
Improve overall maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimum availability.
Involved in the smooth running and optimization of the plant.

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

Matric
Must be a Qualified Millwright with a red seal
A least 3-5 years relevant experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment
Instrumentation knowledge and experience a strong requirement.
Must be extremely analytical with excellent fault-finding skills.
Must be able to read and interpret technical, electrical and hydraulic drawings.
Must have a positive, energetic attitude
Must good problem-solving and communication skills
Must be self-motivated
Must be able to work in a team as well as individually
Must have a good work ethic and sober habits
Must be willing to work rotating shifts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
Must have a valid driver’s license
