Duties & Responsibilities :
Key performance areas:
Monitor compliance to internal Quality management plan by means of internal audits.
External analysis evaluation
Assist in the development of new products and maintenance / updates of current products.
Monitor compliance to bottling/filling specifications at external bottlers/fillers and mobile bottling on site.
Ensure that all dry goods are according to specification and adhere to specific requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate must have:
Matric with a diploma in food technology / winemaking or microbiology
At least 1 year relevant experience in a quality control environment
Lab experience would be advantageous
Must have broad knowledge of wine and the winemaking process
Must have experience in cellar/food producing/food safety
Must have ISO 2200 and/or HACCP experience
Computer literate – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Must have good attention to detail and be well organised
Must be able to work with a wide range of people
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
Must have a valid driver’s license
