Minimum Requirements:

Computer Literacy

Must have GCC Factories
Qualified Electrical Engineer (Diploma/ Degree)
5 Years experience

Duties:

To perform cost analysis and report cost trends and to recommend improvements.
Using SPC to establish and report on machine differences and be involved in eliminating these.
Dealing with training agencies to book training courses and receive updates on progress.
Facilitating technical training for artisans, mechanics employees
To ensure that the apprentice training is managed according to the apprentice training program and facilitating training initiatives.
To ensure compliance with OHS Act measures to limit accidents and incidents.
To ensure that buildings and facilities are timeously maintained.
To liaise with outside authorities on issues affecting the department (municipality, suppliers, consultants, and government departments)
To assist in developing world class performance concepts, through continuous improvement and the SPC system
To identify risk and implement corrective measures.
To maintain effective and efficient administration system
To analyze machine utilization and suggest improvement measures using the SPC method.
To ensure sufficient supply of spare parts whilst maintaining low stock levels
To participate in annual budgeting activities
Responsible for the performance and maintenance of the air conditioning system electrical and water reticulation, compressors, fire detection systems-autoclaves and packing equipment and making the necessary reports.
