Introduction :
Applicants must have experience managing a branch in the FMCG industry, supplying the wholesale and retail market across KZN. The primary responsibility of the branch manager will be to ensure the smooth running of the Durban branch, ensuring procedures and controls are followed. The branch consists of 1 internal sales administrator, 3 warehouse staff, 2 external sales rep and the branch manager should have at least 3-5 years managing a branch of a similar size. The successful applicant will report to the GM, who is based in Gauteng, from where all accounts and HR functions are carried out. The branch manager will be required to visit clients from time to time, and visit the head office. Applicants should have their drivers license and own car, and preference will be given to applicants who have a tertiary qualification. (Only applicants with prior branch management and sales experience within a FMCG environment will be considered).
