Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support as needed
– Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet company goals and objectives
– Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects
– Monitor and evaluate engineering processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
– Collaborate with other departments to coordinate engineering efforts and resources
– Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
– Manage the budget and resources allocated to the engineering department
– Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex engineering issues
– Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
– ND/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
– 5 – 10 years mining experience
– Strong leadership and management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
– Proficiency in project management software and tools
– Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
