Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the engineering department operations including maintenance, reliability, and construction activities
Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure they are motivated and performing at a high level
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of engineering activities
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement appropriate solutions
Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet operational targets
Provide technical expertise and guidance to support operational objectives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
GCC Factories
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within the mining industry
At least 3 years’ managerial experience
Proven track record of successful management of engineering operations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Ability to develop and implement engineering strategies to improve operational efficiency
Knowledge of MFC (Materials, Field, and Construction) engineering processes is a plus
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
