Duties & Responsibilities :

Our client, a well-established dealer group, is looking for an experienced pre-owned vehicle Sales Manager.


Cultivating Business Culture: Develop and uphold the business culture and values within the department.
Team Leadership: Drive the activities of the sales team, manage enquiries, CRM accuracy, and sales processes.
Showroom Management: Maintain the showroom and external forecourt vehicle displays for an appealing presentation.
Appraisal Process: Manage the appraisal process efficiently.
Marketing and Advertising: Oversee used car display, presentation, advertising, and ensure website pricing aligns with the current market.
Customer Satisfaction: Keep customer satisfaction reporting at the forefront of all customer interactions.
Business Development: Generate business through marketing and business development activities.
Financial Management: Achieve sales and profitability targets within set budgets.
Team Development: Lead, manage, coach, and develop the sales team, including administrative functions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reporting on key metrics and performance.
Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering high levels of customer service.


Minimum of 3 years experience in a vehicle sales manager capacity.
Ability to effectively communicate information about products, services, and technology.
Understanding of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation, and trade practices.
Familiarity with OEM and Group sales trading terms, policies, and processes.
Knowledge of trade description, consumer protection, and FCA regulations.
Strong interpersonal skills, creating an environment that encourages growth.
Proficient in coaching, mentoring, motivating, and inspiring others.
