Academic Qualifications

A-level Applicants: You should have or be predicted to achieve at least ABB, including Chemistry or Biology. General Studies are not accepted.
International Baccalaureate: A score of at least 34 points is required, with a Higher Level 6 in both Chemistry and Biology. The Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge are not included in this score.
Alternative Secondary Qualifications: Equivalent to ABB, with Chemistry or Biology studied at the most advanced level.
Degree Holders: An upper second-class degree in a relevant field is necessary.
Special Cases

For those with a Pre-Med (Cert HE in Medical Science) from Buckingham, a minimum of 70% is required.
Transfers from other undergraduate science or medical programs are not accepted.
The university does not accept applicants who have previously enrolled in an undergraduate medical program.
English Language Proficiency
Non-native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency through an IELTS Academic certificate with an overall score of 7 (minimum of 6.5 in each component). Alternatively, a Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) certificate with an average score of 185 (minimum 176 on each paper) is accepted. Students who have completed a UK Bachelor’s degree or are citizens of specified English-speaking countries are exempt from this requirement.
