New App Released to Help You Prepare for the NBTs

New App Helps Learners Prepare for the NBTs

A South African education company, Advantage Learn, has been running successful workshops and courses to help learners prepare for the National Benchmark Tests (NBTs). Now, they’ve taken their support a step further with the launch of a dedicated NBT preparation app designed to make studying even more accessible.

Before the introduction of such resources, learners preparing for the NBTs typically depended on help from teachers, tutors, or parents. In 2013, the Advantage Learn Technology team recognised the challenges students faced and responded by launching their first NBT prep workshops and courses. Since then, thousands of learners have benefited from their programmes.

In an interview, Christopher Muller, Director of Advantage Learn Technology, shared that the company assisted over 5,000 learners in preparing for the NBTs in 2019 alone.

Strong School Partnerships

Advantage Learn has also built strong relationships with schools nationwide. One of their earliest partnerships began in 2013 with Cornwall Hill College in Gauteng. According to Jenny Koster, Head of Physical Science at the college, student feedback on the Advantage Learn NBT course has been overwhelmingly positive ever since its introduction.

Helping Learners Gauge University Readiness

By completing the NBTs, students gain a clearer understanding of their readiness for tertiary education, helping both them and universities make more informed decisions about their academic path.
