Pursue Your Qualification at University of Greenwich
The University of Greenwich has a rich history of collaboration with various colleges, shaping it into the institution it is today. With a wide array of courses available, students can take full advantage of the university’s extensive offerings.
Originally established as the second polytechnic in the United Kingdom, the university focused on technical education. It wasn’t until 1992, after more than a century of evolution and integration with other colleges, that it officially became the University of Greenwich.
The university boasts three beautiful campuses, two of which are located in London. The first, Avery Hill Campus in Eltham, southeast London, is well-suited for students pursuing qualifications in nursing, medicine, social work, and sports-related fields. This campus provides student accommodations, entertainment options, and dining facilities both on-site and nearby.
The second campus, Greenwich, is the closest to central London while still offering a peaceful study environment. Situated on a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is surrounded by fascinating landmarks and features numerous facilities that support the arts.
The third campus, located in Chatham Maritime, Kent, is Medway Campus. This site caters primarily to students in science and engineering disciplines, and also includes student accommodations, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and more.
Each campus is designed not only to facilitate academic pursuits but also to foster a vibrant local community with a diverse student population. With state-of-the-art study facilities and entertainment options, these campuses promote a healthy balance between academic and recreational activities.
The University of Greenwich employs innovative teaching methods, blending academic courses with insights from business and industry, all while integrating cutting-edge, research-informed curricula. The university also embraces modern technology, offering online access to lectures and essential learning tools.
