Sanlam – Wealth Management Learnership Programme 2024

Sanlam is offering an exciting Learnership Programme for individuals eager to build a career in wealth management. This opportunity provides a 12-month contract and a chance to gain a Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 4) while receiving practical experience in a corporate environment.

Programme Details:

  • Duration: 12-month contract
  • Qualification: Certificate in Wealth Management, NQF Level 4
  • Monthly allowance and financial assistance for study purposes
  • On-the-job training and assessment
  • Continuous coaching and mentoring
  • Development of a portfolio of evidence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain knowledge of Sanlam’s products, services, and systems
  • Attend classroom-based lessons
  • Participate in practical onsite training
  • Complete required assessments and compile logbooks for workplace-based learning
  • Submit a Portfolio of Evidence to InSeta

Minimum Requirements:

  • South African citizen, aged 18-35
  • Passed Grade 12 with at least 50% in Mathematics/Math Literacy, Accounting, and English
  • Not currently employed
  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have reliable transport
  • Willingness to commit to the full 12-month programme

  • Motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Team player
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Initiative and self-driven to complete study requirements
  • Ability to manage self-study and assignments

Important Dates:

  • Interviews and assessments: Mid-September 2024 to Mid-October 2024
  • Signing Learnership Agreement: Mid-November 2024 to Mid-December 2024
  • Programme start date: 01 February 2025
