📢 TVET Month 2025 Officially Launched in South Africa

TVET Month has officially kicked off, highlighting the value of Technical and Vocational Education and Training for young people planning their futures after school. With over 500,000 students already enrolled in TVET courses, the sector aims to continue growing and creating more pathways into employment.

The launch event, hosted in collaboration with Nkangala TVET College, was led by Sam Zungu from the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). He emphasised the life-changing opportunities TVET Colleges offer young South Africans.

🌟 Theme for 2025:
“TVET for All: Skills. Opportunity. Change.”
This year marks 11 years of the campaign, which is focused on reshaping public perceptions about TVET Colleges. The initiative is aligned with Women’s Month and International Youth Day, and calls for greater involvement from industry leaders and stakeholders in building the nation’s skills ecosystem.
