The Central Applications Office (CAO) manages admission applications for all universities in KwaZulu-Natal. Some universities have now opened their Semester 2, 2024 applications.

How to Apply
Online Application
Visit the CAO website.

Read How to use the programme list.

Refer to the Summary of Codes Used.

Use the Index to find your programme’s page number.

Click Apply at the top menu.

Select Apply Now.

Fill in all required details and follow the prompts.

Print the Declaration Form and Deposit Slip.

Pay the application fee at your bank.

Attach the required documents and proof of payment to the declaration form.

Post or hand in the application to CAO offices.

Keep your receipt and note your CAO number and password to track your application.

Physical (Paper) Application

Download the Application Form.

Fill in the form with all relevant details.

Pay the application fee at your bank.

Attach required documents and proof of payment to the declaration form.

Post or hand in the application to CAO offices.

Keep your receipt and note your CAO number and password.
