University of Law Scholarships – What’s Available?

If you’re planning to pursue an undergraduate degree in fields like law, business, criminology, psychology, or policing at the University of Law, you might be curious about scholarship opportunities. Scholarships can offer financial support and recognize academic or specific achievements. Here’s a closer look at several scholarships available to eligible students at the University of Law:

Career Changer Scholarship:
This scholarship is open for all undergraduate degrees except apprenticeship programs, offering 12 full-fee awards and partial scholarships for other successful applicants. To qualify, students must have an offer for an undergraduate degree, relevant work experience, transferable skills, and a strong motivation for a career change. Applications are submitted through an online form.

Set for Success Scholarship:
This scholarship provides £2,000 awards to 24 students enrolling in Business, Criminology, Law, and Policing courses starting in September 2023. Additionally, there are two full-fee awards available. Eligibility requires an offer for an undergraduate program, the highest score in an online assessment, and a minimum of AAB at A Level (or equivalent). Applications are accessed through a scholarship link in the offer letter.

Lawyer 2B Scholarship:
This full-fee scholarship is designed specifically for undergraduate Law courses (LLBs), except for apprenticeship programs, and is provided in partnership with Lawyer 2B. Candidates must meet Widening Participation criteria, score highest in the online assessment, and have a minimum of BBB at A Level (or equivalent). Shortlisted applicants may be asked to submit an essay for review.

The Sherryl Kintu Scholarship:
In memory of Sherryl Kintu, this scholarship supports Black women in pursuing entrepreneurship and creativity in the arts. Open to all undergraduate degrees except apprenticeship programs, it offers a full-fee award for a student beginning in September 2023. Eligible applicants should demonstrate strong passion, drive, and entrepreneurial skills through their personal statement.

The University of Law Undergraduate Bursary:
This bursary provides financial aid to full-time undergraduates from low-income households. It awards £1,000 per academic year for students with a household income of “zero,” as assessed by the National Student Finance service. To qualify, students must reside in the UK, have not previously earned an undergraduate degree, and apply for Student Finance.
