University of Mpumalanga (UMP) 2024 Registration Guide
Registration for the 2024 academic year is now open for all students.

UMP Registration Dates:
First-year students: 5 – 9 February 2024

Returning students:

Online registration: 2 January – 16 February 2024

In-person (campus) registration: 12 – 16 February 2024

Postgraduate students: 2 January – 16 February 2024

Masters and Doctoral students: 2 January – 30 April 2024

Note: Returning students must be financially cleared and have no outstanding modules before registering.

How to Register:
Registration is entirely online — no walk-ins permitted.

Use your phone, tablet, or computer to register via the official UMP registration portal.

Important Notes:
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces for each qualification are limited.

Acceptance into a programme does not guarantee enrolment. Register early to secure your spot.

Have your certified ID copy and matric certificate ready for upload during registration.

Orientation and Lectures:
First-year student orientation: 12 – 16 February 2024

Lectures begin: 19 February 2024
