University of Pretoria (UP) 2024 Registration Now Open
UP, established in 1908 and one of South Africa’s largest research universities, has opened registration for both new and returning students.

Registration Dates
New students: 25 January – 1 March 2024

Returning students: 3 January – 1 March 2024

How to Register at UP
For First-Year Students:

If unsure about curriculum, register for core and fundamental modules first.

Elective modules can be added after orientation and curriculum advice.

Students with fixed curricula can register modules as shown on the registration page.

Step-by-Step Registration:

Log in to the UP Student Portal.

Click on the UP Student Centre link.

Select Online Registration.

Proceed to the disclaimer page and tick “I confirm” to agree to the university’s terms.

Click “I agree” to continue.

On the information consent page, answer all questions.

Click Next and fill in the required information.

Select your courses/modules.

Review your selections and click Confirm when satisfied.

In-Person Assistance
Available at Hillcrest Campus from 25 January to 16 February 2024, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00.
