South African ID number or passport number (for international students)
Valid 10-digit cellphone number
Active email address
You can save your progress and return later to complete your application.
Step-by-step application process:
Visit the University of Venda website.
Create a 5-digit PIN.
Complete your application and press the Submit button.
Receive your student number—keep this safe for future reference.
Upload all required documents (see below).
Pay the application fee of R100.
After submission, log in to the MyAccess page to track and view your application status.

Grade 11 final results with school stamp (for current Grade 12 learners)
Academic record and certificate of good conduct (if previously enrolled at a tertiary institution)
Study/residence permit, medical insurance, and SAQA evaluation certificate (international applicants)
Proof of payment of the R100 application fee
Admission Requirements
Degree Programmes:
National Senior Certificate (NSC) certified by Umalusi
Achievement rating of at least 4 (50-59%) in four recognised 20-credit NSC subjects
Minimum Admission Point Score (APS) of 26
Bachelor or matric exemption certificate if Grade 12 completed
Diploma Programmes:
NSC certified by Umalusi
Achievement rating of at least 3 (40-49%) in four recognised 20-credit NSC subjects
Certificate Programmes:
NSC certified by Umalusi
