What is the deadline for payments at Unisa?

The University of South Africa (Unisa) announced that the final date for initial minimum payments was 28 February 2023. To complete your registration, all fees must be paid into Unisa’s official bank account using the correct reference number.

Important Payment Information:

Unisa offers a variety of payment methods, but no cash or cheques are accepted at Unisa offices.
Cash payments can be made at any First National Bank branch into Unisa’s official bank account.
For electronic transfers, ensure the reference field is filled in correctly to avoid processing delays.
Outstanding Debt and Registration:
Unisa has made an exception for students with outstanding debt from the 2022 academic year. Those who have only two modules remaining to complete their qualification can still register, provided they complete and get approval for an Acknowledgement of Debt (AOD) form.

NSFAS and Funding:

Students awaiting confirmation of funding from NSFAS may also register under certain conditions, pending approval.

Unisa 2023 Cancellation Dates:

If a student chooses to cancel their registration for a module, they may forfeit part or all of the study fees, depending on the cancellation date. Students should review the dates carefully and ensure they can meet their financial obligations before registering.

For further details or to complete the AOD form, students can contact Unisa at enquire@unisa.ac.za.
