Who is eligible to take the national senior certificate examination?

Current Grade 12 learners can register as part-time candidates for the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations as long as their School-Based Assessment (SBA) validity has not expired.

The validity of the SBA expires three years after the candidate first wrote the NSC exams.
