You may apply to up to three programmes. If you apply to two programmes within the same faculty, it’s recommended that your third choice be in a less competitive faculty, such as Commerce, Humanities, or Science.

How to Apply Online at Wits
Visit the Wits University application portal on their website.

Fill in your details exactly as they appear on your ID or passport—no initials or nicknames.

Read and accept the university’s legal declaration.

Upload all supporting documents.

Pay the application fee (see fees below).

You can submit your application and pay later via the student self-service portal if needed.

After submission, you’ll receive an email confirmation.

Track your application status online.

If offered admission, accept your offer before the deadline to secure your spot.

South African citizens: R100 (non-refundable)

International applicants: R700 (non-refundable)

Important Application Deadlines for 2026
30 June 2025: Faculty of Health Sciences (all programmes), Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Bachelor of Audiology, Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology, BA Film and TV

30 September 2025: All other university programmes
