Job Description

Duties :

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

Compile weekly and monthly payroll inputs
Responsible for the accurate administration of the weekly and weekly-to-monthly payrolls
Attend to all queries in a professional manner
Follow and implement company polices and audit requirements
Administering the timeous and accurate submission of all required returns in relation to the wage function
Attend to the timely and accurate payment of all wages staff and make the appropriate statutory deductions
Responsibility to assist the Human Resource Department in any and all functions
Complete the weekly and monthly payroll checklists
Responsible for printing weekly and monthly reports
Responsible for weekly and monthly payroll extractions
Ensure that all filing with regards to employee personnel files are up to date
Any other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time
Maintaining and implementing 20 Keys

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

Matric or relevant qualification
Must have at least 5 years’ payroll experience
Exposure to the Integrity Payroll and FIHRST Connect is advantageous
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook)
Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
Excellent administration, problem solving and time management skills
Must be able to work independently and cope well under pressure
Fluent in English and an additional language
Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary
