Job Description

Requirements:

Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse
At least 2-5 years relevant experience in Theatre
Post basic qualification essential – Theatre technique
Management experience – advantageous
Excellent leadership qualities and mentoring skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem solving skills
The skill to manage nursing standards and in-service training
Maintain a professional image and character
Accurate administration skills
Commitment to initiate and implement continuous improvement projects
Excellent MS Officer Computer skills i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Critical and analytical thinking

Duties & Responsibilities:

Management of staff within the company’s IR policies, Basic Conditions of Employment and the disciplinary Code
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures at all times
Management of staffing in accordance with the company policies
Manage the day to day problem solving, including stock control
Conduct regular quality focus rounds
Maintain infection control strategies and procedures of the hospital
Maintain health and safety principles
Focus on quality care
Evaluation, intervention and resolution of patient complaints and queries
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
Manage ad-hoc projects as and when required
