Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

1. Provide solutions to clients’ technical problems – via email or by phone

2. Provide customers accurate information on IT products and services

3. Carry out assessments to determine the need for changes in clients’ hardware/software configurations

4. Educate clients on procedures for resolving or preventing recurrence of a technical problem

5. Explain and provide IT solutions to customers in non-technical and comprehensible terms

6. Respond to inquiries about hardware or software issues Updating the company knowledge base with tech tips and brief documents

7. Maintain client confidence by keeping their information confidential

8. Preparing reference material for users by drafting operation instructions

Desired Experience & Qualification

 Skills required:

1. A combination of technological expertise and communication skills.

2. The foresight to anticipate and address potential issues before they become problems.

3. A sound technical knowledge of the AML products – training will be provided.

4. Good organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

5. Investigation and diagnostic skills.

6. Regular document/application research (reading application manuals) and perform actions based on that research.

7. Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.

8. Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.

9. Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

10. Excellent interpersonal skills.

11. Good written and verbal communication.

8.Technical skills for this job are:

Databases, SQL, Windows, UNIX;

Certification in Microsoft, Linux and Apache is advantageous;

Programming and scripting skills would be useful;
