Job Description


Develop and implement distribution strategies to meet customer requirements and improve efficiency
Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
Coordinate with the production team to ensure the timely delivery of products
Lead and supervise a team of warehouse and logistics staff, providing training and performance feedback
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse
Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Develop relationships with carriers and suppliers to optimize transportation and distribution costs
Resolve any issues or complaints related to distribution operations


Tertiary qualification degree/diploma in logistics.
Minimum 10 – 15 years of distribution and warehousing experience in an FMCG environment within a large distribution center environment
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management position (managing a workforce of more than 50)
Proven track record of successfully implementing operational best practices in a distribution and warehousing environment.
Minimum 5 years of WMS experience.
ERP systems knowledge and experience (JDE).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Demonstrated success with productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
