Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
– Preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
– Conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for projects
– Tendering and procurement processes
– Contract negotiation and administration
– Valuing completed work and preparing progress reports
– Cost control and value engineering
– Risk assessment and management
– Quantity take-offs and measurement of materials
– Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards
Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
– Professional membership (e.g. RICS) is preferred
– Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
– Proficient in use of quantity surveying software
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Additional Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
– Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
