Structural Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design and oversee residential, commercial, and retail construction projects
Analyze project sites, materials, and building designs to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
Conduct on-site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure quality control
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure project success
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in structural engineering
Requirements:
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or relevant field
10 years’ work experience as a Structural Engineer/Technologist/Technician
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard software
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
